Welcome to Easington Lane Primary School
We are a mainstream primary school committed to inclusive education and meeting the needs of all the children in our care.
We aim to provide a lively, creative curriculum to challenge and motivate our pupils and enable them to participate in a range of high quality learning opportunities. The schools excellent facilities enhance the quality of our children’s education. We have recently extended our building and increased our outdoor facilities further, this has enhanced the opportunities that we can provide our children (although we are always seeking to make them even better). However our greatest resource is our skilled and dedicated staff who work tirelessly to provide the best teaching and learning experience for each child.
We want our pupils to enjoy coming to school and to be enthusiastic about learning. We will nurture and encourage pupils and hopefully, inspire them to be active participants in their own development and education.
We expect high standards of behaviour from all of our pupils, and ask parents to work with us in ensuring our children fulfil their potential. We are an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school and you can read our most recent inspection report here.

Year 4 had a fun WOW morning where we took part in a quiz based on the European countries we have been learning about. The gloves were off as we battled against each other to be crowned champions! Thank you to our friends and family for your continued support.
This week, we have been practising counting in steps of 2, 5 and 10. We have used the Dienes equipment to count forwards and backwards in tens and we are beginning to partition 2-digit numbers!
