Year 4’s first Wow week of the year is sadly over. On Thursday the children were learning all about the diet of ancient Greece and how healthy it was. We decided to have a Greek food tasting session with some of the foods that would have been eaten at the time and to also try some modern day delicacies! Some of the foods were: olives, houmous, pitta bread, Feta cheese, tzatziki and taramasalata. As can be seen from the photos, not all of the foods were enjoyed by the class but they were very brave. The big favourite, however, was fresh figs in Greek yogurt and honey!

On Friday morning, the children enjoyed finishing their Greek vases with members of their family to help. The finished outcomes are excellent! A big thankyou to all the family members who were able to make it.
